If a cavity is found at one of your regular checkups, the dentist will plan to fill it at a follow-up appointment.

Cavities are a hole caused from left-on plaque that eats away at the tooth. Not brushing and flossing, as well as certain foods, can cause this to occur.

The solution is simple, a filling to close that hole and prevent future damage and decay.

What Happens at an Appointment
